Accommodation Benefit is a weekly payment that's paid with your Student Allowance to help with accommodation costs.

Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) Subsidy is a payment which helps families with the costs of before-school and after-school programmes for up to 20 hours a week, and school holiday programmes for up to 50 hours a week.

A Recoverable Assistance Payment can help you pay for something you need urgently, when you have no other way of paying for it, eg appliances, school uniforms or rent arrears.

A Special Needs Grant is a one-off payment that helps you out with urgent costs, eg, emergency dental or medical treatment, food or bedding.
