Important information
A verified copy is a copy of the original document. It's been signed and dated by someone who can confirm that it's the same as the original.
When to verify documents
If you're posting documents in the mail, you need to send verified copies. If you send originals, we won't take responsibility for documents lost or damaged in the post. We also cannot guarantee the secure return of these documents to you.
If you're uploading documents online using Connect, only evidence of who you are needs to be verified.
