What you need to do when you're returning to study.
If you're returning to study, there are a few things you need to consider.

If you're continuing study from last semester and your break was 3 weeks or less, you need to re-apply for your Student Loan and/or Student Allowance.
Break was more than 3 weeks
If you had a study break that was more than 3 weeks and are now returning to study, there's a few things you need to do.
If you're continuing study from last semester and you didn't have a break, you need to re-apply for your Student Loan and/or Student Allowance.
Passing requirements
You must meet the passing requirements to be able to get another Student Loan or Student Allowance.
Limits for Student Loan and Student Allowance
There's a limit to how long you can get a Student Allowance for and how many Student Loans you can get in your lifetime.
If you're doing postgraduate study, you may not be able to get a Student Allowance but we may be able to help in other ways.
How you apply online as a returning student depends on when you last received Student Loan or Student Allowance payments.
