New application in MyStudyLink
It may have been more than 1 year since you received Student Loan or Student Allowance payments. If so, you need to complete a new application in MyStudyLink. This is the easiest way to apply for your Student Loan and Student Allowance.
You need to complete a new application in MyStudyLink if:
- it's been more than 1 year since you received Student Loan or Allowance payments
- the Returning application does not include what you want to apply for
- you've changed your name since you last applied for a Student Loan or Student Allowance.
You'll need to log in to MyStudyLink with your RealMe login that you used when you applied online before.
If you haven't logged in to MyStudyLink for at least 2 years, your account will be locked. You'll need to apply online as a first-time student instead.
Apply as early as you can to help get your correct payments on time. Even if you haven't finalised where or what you're studying.
