Proposed Accommodation Supplement entry threshold changes for some homeowners

These proposed changes will take effect from 1 April 2027, raising the entry threshold for some homeowners from 30% to 40% of the relevant base rate (an indicator of income).
The increase will apply to Student Allowance sole parents who receive the Accommodation Benefit.
