Client number
Our definition for client number.
We issue you a unique 9-digit client number so we can identify you in our systems.
If you’ve already had payments from us or Work and Income before, you’ll already have a client number. If you haven’t, a client number is created once you submit your first application.
Where to find your client number
You can find your client number either:
- in MyStudyLink
- on any letter we've sent to you
- on your Community Services card (if you have one).
